Would you like to work with an exciting team in the games industry? This is a unique contract opportunity for a Build Engineer inside a rapid fire team in the midst of exciting developments in game technology. If you have build experience with Visual Studio and the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment, we are looking for you!

This candidate will have to understand all layers of development, how they work together and the scaffolding that supports them in order to get everything to work smoothly.

OVERVIEW:

  • Implement and maintain the build system
  • Handle changing priorities
  • Interface with various clients (test, dev, art, production) to discover requirements, needs, and properly attend to their job function
  • Circumvent possible problems before they disrupt the work
  • Fix issues with automation
  • Provide workflow speed-ups for devs and content creators
  • Act as the contact point for test in this realm

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years of work related experience required
  • General expertise in Windows Client Server development environment and solid software engineering practices
  • Familiarity with the C/C++ compile/link process
  • Game development experience preferred
  • Ability to handle build processes involving not only code, but assets, data, and customized automated steps
  • Some level of programming such as C#/Python would be useful
  • C/C++ a plus
  • Overall familiarity with Visual Studio build processes, Incredibuild, Incredilink, etc., preferred
  • Ability to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

This contract position is expected to be one year in duration.
