Description
The role holder will play a key part in driving step change within SCM Services. A key focus will be the standardization of working methods and processes through the implementation of tools and management discipline within the following key areas:
* Planning & Forecasting
* Stakeholder Management
In addition, the role holder may be required to provide support to SCM Services management & category managers, specifically in the areas of:
* New Suppliers
* Supporting project management
* Working with the support functions of legal, tax, supplier performance management & the Vodafone Operations Centre
Planning & Forecasting
* Liaise with Category Managers & country SCM Services teams to ensure the following are current:
-saving & trading forecasts
-spend forecasts
-SCM activity calendar
-project plans
* Highlight project delays & work with teams to ensure action plans are in place
* Work with the Finance function to manage the weekly performance report & the Services scorecard
Stakeholder Management
* Create a contacts database and manage the stakeholder engagement plan with Category managers
* Create & manage a travel & feedback database
* Organize meetings as required in line with stakeholder engagement plan
* Organization of Category Councils
New Suppliers
* Support Category Managers for new supplier registrations
* Set up B2B trading links for new suppliers
Team Support
Ad hoc support to category managers during peak project times
Required Skills
Clear and effective communication
Numerically minded - data analysis (large & complex files)
Fluent English
Ability to work independently
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams
Microsoft office especially excel and Powerpoint
