We are currently in need of a Senior Messaging Exchange 2010 Technical Specialist to join our clients large enterprise environment on a exciting contract to Permanent opportunity. The successful candidate will be particular specialising in the area of Exchange 2010.
Role and Responsibilities
The Technical Specialist role is an excellent opportunity for a Senior 3rd line engineer or systems administrator to progress their career in to professional consultancy Regular reviews will establish objectives for training and exams as well as utilisation targets for billable work. The successful candidate will supports the group by: - Providing support for Microsoft and Exchange 2010 project work - Implementing Exchange 2010 and other Microsoft opportunities - Delivery of other chargeable consultancy and projects - Supporting Professional Services colleagues as and when required Other duties will be: - Own and satisfy technical project work related to the aforementioned technologies. - Host technical implementation planning workshop sessions with client personnel. - Develop technical documentation of an outstanding quality, eg technical designs, implementation/migration plans, proposals. - Deliver project implementation work in the relevant technical field - Manage any technical escalations resulting from project work - Support colleagues with the management and resolution of technical escalations within their area and offer advice and guidance to members of the Technical Management Centre (TMC) managed service team
Skill Summary
It is essential to be able to demonstrate experience (gained in the workplace/hands on) of the following: - Microsoft Exchange 2010 - Microsoft Lync (enterprise)and AD awareness - Virtualisation and Storage awareness - Ideally of Graduate calibre with relevant technical qualifications - 5 years + of technical consultancy experience (business to business) - Appropriate technical accreditations for their area of expertise (MCITP etc) - Proven record of solution documentation - An Innovative and positive attitude coupled with the ability to get things done and show ownership
