Qualified Finance Director - CA, CIMA, ACCA

Primary Purpose of the Role:
Acts as principal Corporate Finance Officer for the UK: Overall responsibility for internal controls and compliance
Responsible for local statutory filings and tax compliance across c.50 UK legal entities
Responsible for Credit management for all Business Units and Regional Organizations
Responsible for proactively leading and orchestrating, from evaluation to implementation, the integration of new business acquisitions
Jointly responsible with the CFO and other Directors for the monthly financial statements

Essential Job Functions:
Ensure that all Statutory and Tax reporting is completed and filed within the legal deadlines
Financial Statement output review Management and co-ordination of Internal, Statutory and Tax Audits Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley procedures and key controls, update documentation and perform sample audits as required
Support and assist CFO with evaluation of new business opportunities as requested Supervision of payroll, common procurement of corporate functions, AP retained
Supervises Budgeting process for Corporate and regional Functions Retained Treasury and Cash management
Supervise Credit Controlling for all BUs Support evaluation of systems and procedures to maximize efficiency
Supervise Tax Planning and Transfer Pricing
Manage the relationship with outsource partners for invoice-to-cash and order-to-cash processes. Participate in Home Office system and business initiatives providing insights into global processes and systems as requested. Member of Crisis Management Committee
Lead and proactively manage any accounting, process and system integration projects/initiatives regarding new business/companies acquisitions or new business models

Education/Qualifications:
Chartered or Certified Accounting qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA

Relevant Previous Work Experience:
Prior work experience within a complex multinational corporate structure.
Substantial post qualification experience, some of which in a US GAAP reporting environment.
Strong understanding of Credit Management issues and preferably oversight in this area.
Extensive experience supervising Statutory Accounting and Tax compliance in a large Company strongly preferred.
Experience of managing, motivating & developing a medium sized team. Competencies & Profile Knowledge and experience of SAP is strongly preferred.
Competent knowledge of MS Office, expert user of MS Excel.
Self motivated, flexible and a high level of initiative. Relatively autonomous.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex financial issues with finance and non-finance people at all levels of the business.
Proactively seeks to improve processes and procedures..
Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving and judgment skills.
Excellent staff management and leadership skills; delegates effectively
Ability to work under a deadline and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as partner with others.
Strong English language skills.
