Solutions Architect Data Centre - Nexus Centric
Contract - 3 month rolling initially with extensions. Immediate start potential, weekly pay.
Position Purpose:
The Data Centre Solutions Architect within the Customer Solutions group will utilize their extensive hands on technical skills sets in the design of Data Centre, Server, Storage and Networking Architecture within the Cloud and Centralized Systems & Storage markets whilst maintaining a clear understanding of our clients' business requirements & playing a key role in the sales engagement - but not as a typical 'pre sales Consultant'. Think more Client relationship complimenting the sales model. This role requires extensive Cisco Nexus experience.
Key Requirements include:
Proven Cisco Nexus DC Switching experience: Hands On, Design, Architecture, Implementations and Migrations.
Experience in the design and architecture of highly available Data Centre services in a large scale environment
Experience in the development of enterprise services deployed into Data Centre environments
Exposure to design principles for both centralised and Cloud Computing
Experience in NetApp, VMWare, Unified Comms, DR, HDS or EMC Storage solutions.
Understanding of Managed Services Environments and offerings.
Background & Experience:
This is a senior role, requiring a minimum of 5 years Design/Architect experience with a very strong technical hands on background. Experience in delivering solutions that meet the customers TCO requirements.

Proven Solution Architect/Design experience within Data Centre environments from a vendor/solutions integrator approach.
Strong customer relationship skills.
Excellent analytical & problem solving skills.
Strong influencing & interpersonal skills.
Strong discovery skills & ability to identify customers pain & map a solution that will deliver benefit.
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
Industry certification, we would expect CCIE certification or a long proven history involving DC design and architecture.
You must have the ability to achieve Security Clearance for this role - Australian Citizenship is mandatory in this respect
