Are you a C#.NET Developer looking for a 6 month contract opportunity in Downtown Atlanta with an organization that is making a difference? As a C# Developer you will design and develop applications to meet business needs following approved development methodologies. Logically designs relational data objects necessary to efficiently store; maintain; and retrieve the information created by business processes and to meet informational requirements consistent with relational database theory and relational database management. Duties include: reviewing requirements to develop the application design; working with data analysts; DBAs; and infrastructure team members to design high performance systems; documenting design and creates programming specs; developing and tests modules in response to design specs; and following approved development methodology for design and development processes to include prototypes, documentation, design, code development, and testing. You will also adhere to departmental standards with minimal or no direct supervision; serve as Tier 3 development support to correct production defects; document problems and fixes; and validate that business, quality, and performance requirements have been met by all application systems and reporting solutions by performing unit, integration, and functional tests. You will participate in code reviews and walkthroughs, and coordinate with quality assurance analysts in order to ensure that software products meet client expectations, minimize costs, and maximize the return on investment. Analyzing the information produced by business processes as well as informational requirements by reviewing use case models, use cases, user interface prototypes, report prototypes, and report design documents.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 5+ years.NET Development experience.
- Good applied experience in ASP.NET, C#. VB.NET ok, but C# highly preferred. NET Frameworks 2.0, 3.5 and 4. ASP.NET MVC a definite plus, Silverlight also.
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, coding standards, peer reviews, design methodologies, testing methodologies
- Working knowledge of the following framework foundations is highly desirable: WCF, WWF, as well as applied experience working with the business rules engine in WWF 3.5/4.
- Strong Object Oriented Programming technique - interfacing, abstracts, providers.
