Are you passionate about games? Do you have experience developing in the mobile phone or web-enabled entertainment space? We've got a great contract offering with the Northwest's signature software corporation, so contact us as quickly as you can!

Candidates will verify games platform web-enabled Windows Phone applications. Main responsibilities include analysing design, developing test automation for new features, running automation and manual tests to verify device behavior and creating new test cases.

Job scope includes writing test specs, writing C# test code to exercise new Windows Phone app features and owning automation failure investigation throughout the product cycle. This job will involve roughly 70% coding, 30% writing test cases, running test cases and bug investigation

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4 years of software testing experience with end-user applications
  • 2 years testing Windows Phone or Mobile applications
  • Experience with Silverlight C# programming
  • Experience writing UI automation test code
  • Experience owning feature tests throughout a development cycle
  • Passion for game play and casual games space
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

PREFERRED:

  • Experience developing or testing Windows Phone 7 XNA/Silverlight applications
  • Experience working on Windows Phone 7 entertainment features
  • Experience creating UI automation libraries from scratch
  • Knowledge of Internet protocols and networking fundamentals including HTTP, RESTful APIs, XML SOAP and TCP/IP
  • Excitement to learn new technologies and take on new coding challenges

This contract is expected to be 6 months in duration with possibility of extension.
