A leading Service provider based in North Ryde, Sydney is seeking a Senior Systems Storage Engineer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract with a view to extension.As Senior Systems Storage Engineer you will maintain support, service and sales excellence so that customers satisfaction within the organisation is continually improved. This will involve ensuring that product and system performance is in accordance with specified standards, and that customer satisfaction is continually measured and strengthened.
You will continue to enhance skills in the use of systems and diagnostic tools used in support and maintenance. You will also manage an operational backup environment and identify risks/gaps and supply and implement approved recommendations.
What Do We Want From You?
- IBM TSM skills must be strong at a senior level, with understanding of SAN concepts (highly desirable)
- Ability to manage, identify risks and gaps, followed by recommendations and implementation of TSM backup environments
- 4+ years experience as a Senior Systems Engineer with industry recognised certification and/or relevant enterprise experience
- Will have been responsible for a major installation, proposal or project, and will have successfully completed major tasks with a significant degree of assigned responsibility
