£350M+ IT Solutions Company requires a suitably experience IT Support Engineer to work on-site at our established client based in Brussels also supporting multiple sites across Benelux with travel to Scandinavia and Amsterdam.
You will have excellent communication skills and fluent speaking in French and Dutch
IT Support Engineer
Location -Brussels
Regular Travel to sites in Scandinavia and Amsterdam
Rate - 30 - 35 Euros Per Hour + Overtime
12 Month Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate hardware fixing in H.O and Stores (Dell workstations/laptops, HP/Lexmark/Zebra printers, Motorola PDA, Dymo label writer)
- Work with Dell Pro Support
- Install operating system images on spare hard disk (Ghost)
Support Workstation image based on Microsoft Windows XP (eg printers creation, drivers installation, ) - IBM Client Access - AS400 client emulator (screen/printer configuration)
- IBM Lotus Notes - client side only (end-users questions, mailbox archive, client upgrade, )
- Cabling (plug RJ45 cable between switch/patch panel)
- Support on store inventory operations (check PDAs)
- Fluent French and Dutch speaking
- Previous IT Hardware Support experience
- PC/Laptop/Printer/Mobile Devices
- Windows XP/Vista/7
- Basic networking Troubleshooting - TCP/IP
- EPOS Support Experience Desirable but not essential
- Ability to travel 10 days every other month - essential
