Our international client is looking for a SAP Restructuring Project Manager to start working ASAP. The contract will be for a year with a high possibility of extension. This offer is a fantastic one as its in the middle-east where it is a tax free zone.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Leading SAP implementations for a Business Restructuring projects involving utilities deregulation (unbundling).
- Major contributor to progress the SAP solution, making key design and delivery decisions and seen as leader of the team.
- Regularly monitor progress of development/project resources, manage individual performance, adjust plans accordingly and organize relevant communication based on changes.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the business restructuring implementations with the other functional and technical leads and the key business stakeholders ensuring dependencies, risks and issues are called-out and mitigated in a proactive manner.
- Delivery of project design and solution.
- Delivery of projects within timescales and budgets.
- Identification, analysis and mitigation or escalation of potential risks and issues.
- Ensuring quality of project deliverables and management of quality issues.
- Successful management of change within Client organizations.
- Maintaining all necessary communication lines within project teams and Client organizations.
- Ensuring adherence to company Project Management Organization (PMO) internal administration processes.
- Definition of project deliverables and scope.
- Set up and maintenance of risk and issue management policies and procedures.
- Resource scheduling and allocation.
- Setting up and running of review/status meetings with project team, business process owners, and steering committees.
- Contributing to SAP design and solution - making design and approach decisions, lead the solution implementation at a detailed level.

CRITICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one end-to-end life cycle SAP Utilities project experience. Must have previous team leadership experience in at least 2 years project implementation.
- Qualified Project Manager with recognized PM qualification. Good understanding of project management skills and thorough knowledge of the ASAP 'project life cycle.
- Proven experience of managing and delivering SAP ISU Projects (water or energy) - with experience in delivering (multiple) SAP ISU projects.
- Knowledge of SAP IS Utilities required; senior utilities delivery management, Contracting Operations, Project and investment management, Consolidation and reporting, IDE/SPA PM/CICO Device Management EO ISU Billing.
- SD - Billing FICA Work flow.
- Process knowledge about gas and electricity utility industry.
- SAP functional/solutions architecting and/or configuration skills.
- Good design and architectural skills in the technical area.
- Team player, proactive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and sustain effective relationships with customers and IS organization.
- Good design and architectural skills in the technical area .
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks and deliver on commitments.
- Thoroughly proficient in both verbal and written English.
- Excellent communication skills a must.
