Position Title: Financial AssociateJob Description:
This position will provide cost accounting support for manufacturing location(s). It will offer extensive experience with SAP, Material Ledger and FI. This position provides the candidate with opportunities to identify, lead, and drive process improvements, while working in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
o Lead month end closing process for assigned location(s).
o Analyze and resolve variances in financial results.
o Complete accurate & timely balance sheet reconciliations.
o Work to ensure standardization of processes and adoption of "best practices" across locations.
o Support assigned location(s) and BU management with ad hoc accounting information and analysis.
o Participate in the review of cost processes and identification of opportunities to initiate process improvements.
o Ensure adherence to cost accounting principles, SOX and GAAP.
Qualifications:
o B.S./B.A. in Accounting or Finance Required
o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance Required
o Strong Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills Required
o Excellent Communication Skills & Interpersonal Skills Required
o Strong PC Skills in Excel & Word Required
o Cost Accounting Experience Desired
o SAP System Knowledge Desired
