Senior Technical Project Manager
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team of passionate professionals and provide technical project management expertise for implementation planning, deployment and expansion of large distributed computer systems, networks, and software supporting various functions and crossing organizational lines.
The successful candidate will act as a liaison that bridges the gap between Engineering, QA, Deployment Managers and the various Operations teams. The Technical Project Manager will exhibit exceptional skill in scoping and authoring robust, detailed project plans and driving team adherence to schedules, budget, and technical requirements.
The Technical Project Manager will be a functional leader for highly technical projects and exhibit ingenuity in identifying opportunities to creatively leverage current technologies, services, and infrastructure designs to accelerate development schedules, reduce project risk, and drive project value.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of the project life cycle from requirements gathering and analysis, to development, to planning, to implementation, to ongoing support and maintenance. Leads assigned projects, with responsibility for overall coordination and integration of complex technology services and technical deliverables in accordance with project requirements. Prioritizes and allocates available project resources; reviews and evaluates project service delivery, makes recommendation for and executes changes to ensure maximum effective service provision; assists in developing new program function elements, including researching, compiling and analysing supporting data. Administers the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards where applicable for the assigned program. Coordinates with Engineering, QA and Operations teams the on-boarding and Implementation of infrastructure and software services Partners with Product Management organization in understanding services roadmap and overall company and organization initiatives. Communicates the functional and infrastructure dependencies, and business process changes to the various Operations teams. Proposes process changes and improvements when required to improve the efficiency and success of the overall project management workflow. Monitors or performs day-to-day operations of the assigned projects to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed, that goals and objectives are met, and that services and projects are being accomplished efficiently and effectively; takes corrective action as necessary. Maintains records that provide for the proper evaluation, control and documentation of assigned activities; prepares a variety of written correspondence, reports, procedures, directives and other materials. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level or any duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
4-year Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in the US, or a comparable foreign university.
