The Marketing Manager will assist in the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy which will include planning, directing, and coordinating all of the Marketing programs and collateral.

The incumbent will develop marketing programs and provide the senior management team with sufficient information to maintain and/or increase market share with existing products as well as implement marketing programs for new products launches.

Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in establishing strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Develop and execute marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share.
Work with Product Management to develop the marketing direction and plans for the product lines.
Collaborate with Product Management in the development of value propositions, talking points, white papers, and blogs.
Assist Product Management with market analysis, market research and competitive analysis.
Assist in identifying competitive advantage and market positioning.
Work with Product Management to provide short and long range marketing sales strategies for existing and future products in present and new markets.
Support marketing sales strategies with aggressive and creative mailing programs, promotional literature, videos, Internet marketing, social media, and exhibits and disseminate both internally and externally.
Support new product development by working with Product Management on market research, marketing programs and collateral.
Drive lead generation initiatives by developing marketing strategy to increase opportunities and brand awareness.
Establish and maintain consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
Ensure the consistency of message, branding and image across all communication channels.
Responsible for communicating and managing marketing initiatives effectively to ensure that deadlines are consistently met and programs are successfully launched.
Responsible for new media development.
Website development, optimization and maintenance
Originate new and revise current marketing collateral that reinforces branding message.
This includes print media, videos, Internet advertising, and website.
Inform field sales and customers routinely regarding products, services, unique applications, market conditions, competition, market trends, and other matters of mutual interest and concerns via comprehensive direct mail, SIC, newsletters, website, e-mails, videos and other sales support mediums.
Maintain good working relationships with the Product Managers, Field Sales Personnel, and the After Market department relative to constant communication and project coordination.
Provide post-event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs.
Evaluate the marketing organization and provide guidance and leadership to create and maintain a creative, focused, and results oriented department.
Supervisory responsibility for Marketing personnel which include hiring, terminations, performance reviews, disciplinary actions and employee development.
Attend industry trade shows and events as required.
Assist and make recommendations regarding contract terms with outside agencies.
Develop and maintain Marketing metrics including lead generation, ROI for marketing campaigns and effectiveness of programs.
Communicate with outside advertising agencies on ongoing campaigns.
Hands on support for internal staff and events including developing Powerpoint presentations, videotaping, video editing and other assignments as required.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Marketing and five years related experience.
  • Need to have Business 2 Business. Experience with Marketing Capital Equipment is a plus but definitely needs. Manufacturing experience. Experience with Social Media, be tech savvy, and have experience with value-add proposals.
