The Global Financial Controller (GFC) will be responsible for Group management accounting, revenue & financial reporting, consolidation, audit, taxation, statutory and interim accounts, and management of Group annual plan. GFC will oversee full internal reporting requirements of the Group, directly supporting senior management with regards to decision support for overall business growth. Position will have a number of direct reports and be a key member of the senior management team.

Successful candidate will have the following background:
- Qualified chartered accountant with minimum of 7+ years of relevant work experience with knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP and multi-currency reporting; previous experience working with consultancies preferred
- Proven track record of delivering accurate management reporting requirements in a timely manner, flexibility to meet the ongoing requirements of Group, and initiative to improve controls and implement changes to existing processes to enhance efficiency
- Experience managing external audit process, designing and implementing a new accounting system
- Understanding of tax and VAT calculations and processes, ensuring all financial terms are in line with local requirements across the various countries
- Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word as well as familiarity with multiple accounting systems is an essential requirement or the role
- Advanced financial modelling experience with familiarity of generally accepted best practices in building robust and easily maintained models
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with proven history of generating high quality, concise, and well-formatted deliverables and analysis for distribution to senior management
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the gravitas to influence and persuade where necessary, inspiring confidence within all areas of business and Group partners
- Effective time management skills with ability to thrive in a high-intensity work environment, planning
and prioritizing workloads to meet reporting deadlines
- Experience with managing, building, and training multi-national teams
- Ability to maintain a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality

Specific duties include:
- Direct oversight of regional UK and Group consolidated reporting, ensuring both internal and external reporting requirements are produced accurately and in strict accordance with Company deadlines
- Weekly Group reporting requirements:
o Cash reporting
o Credit control
o Bench reporting
- Monthly Group reporting requirements:
o Payment run
o Management accounts (BS, IS, CF statements incl. commentary and variance analysis)
o Regional revenue tracking by client and project
o Management dashboard with effective utilisation rate and loss ratio analyses
o Realised/expected daily rate analysis by project
o Client drawdown reporting
- Development of accounting policies and financial information for other stakeholders, leveraging commercial acumen to advise on accounting treatments and identify key reporting risks and opportunities
- Management of annual external audit(s), including communication with auditors; engagement letter; summary of audit differences and management letter
- Reconciling and coordinating project resourcing and time-tracking; liaising with project management and delivery teams to determine percent completion on fixed price projects
- Maintain organization of all commercial client contracts in strict adherence to internal policies
- Implementation and maintenance of accounting system(s), ensuring they remain effective and operational at all times along with monthly reconciliation of all ledgers and sub-ledgers
- Managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
- Monitoring cash flow and working capital requirements
- Serving as key finance contact for ad hoc projects, analytical support, and due diligence requests to support new business activities
- Assisting in preparation of operating and capex budgets/forecasts and Board reporting
- Providing assistance/direction to managers with regards to preparation of budgets, ensuring approved capital expenditure budgets are adhered to at all times
