Role
You must be a detailed-oriented person with experience in testing interactive software. Our platforms include Microsoft, Macintosh, and Web-based environments, running against client/server architecture.
Responsibilities
You will need to estimate work effort and write test plans from requirements documents, so a keen ability to understand complex systems in order to devise complete and insightful test scenarios is important
You will work closely with the development teams to develop strategies for testing new features
You will work with development engineers and business representatives to verify new features match requirements and you will seek to maintain high quality standards in our client and server products
You will need to write detailed bug reports so analysis of problems, attention to detail and experience with bug-tracking tools/databases is required
You will need to complete tasks on time according to release schedules so a track record of shipping software products and experience with the complete software development life cycle is required
In general applicants should have a well-rounded background across QA practices
Experience
B.Sc. or BA, or equivalent work experience (3 years industry experience)
Experience writing and executing detailed test plans
Detail-oriented, highly motivated individual who is able to work on tasks with minimal supervision
Ability to multi-task and test different applications as required for a release
Specific experience in and understanding of two or more of the following:
oWindows client-side application testing
oWeb application testing and web site verification
oBack-end server testing, integration testing or systems testing
oPayments and/or e-commerce solutions testing
oPerformance testing with the aid of performance test tools
oSecurity/penetration testing
oWeb services testing
Desirable
Previous experience with scripting or test development skills, particularly in the use of Selenium and/or Python scripting
Knowledge of SQL and DB's, particularly SQL Server
