My client is a World leading Financial Services Organisation and due to a new SimCorp Dimension implementation they are urgently looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst/Project Manager for a 18 month contract.

As the SimCorp Business Analyst/Project Manager you must have the following experience and abilities;

Work with the sponsors and business program manager to analyse business processes/issues and define requirements for business changes or new business initiatives
Work with the project team to deliver the IT components of the implementation so as to achieve the agreed benefits within a defined time, scope and cost
Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis on possible system solutions and propose clear choices for management consideration
Coordinate with business users, internal and external IT suppliers to ensure that IT systems are effectively deployed
Participate into the configuration work required in implementing vendor solutions including the building of the interfaces using the vendor tools
Provide ongoing support for current systems platforms to enable the smooth and efficient operation of business processes
Create test scenarios and manage the test execution in integrated system tests
Understand the industry trends in IT systems for fund management and render consultancy services to business and IT management regarding technology strategies and solutions
Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (eg FIMs, GSMs, circulars), internal control standards and external regulatory requirements

Qualifications

A university graduate with a minimum of ten years' IT experience including three years in business analysis and project management in the financial industry
Solid experience in package implementation, integration with in-house systems and management of system development life cycles for financial applications, preferably in the asset management industry
Proven track record in implementing SimCorp Dimension as an asset management Back Office and Middle Office system on a regional or global basis is a definite requirement
Solid experience in SimCorp connectivity domain such as developing interfaces using the SimCorp Communication Server and its interface tools is a definite requirement.
Proven track record in managing IT projects and deploying IT solutions in financial institutions under a multi site environment
Experience in XML programming and market protocol standards such as SWIFT and FIXML
Knowledge on Oracle relational database and Oracle Advanced Queues.
Working exposure in supporting global or regional businesses as well as experience in managing or coordinating IT development in a Matrix reporting multi site environment
Strong project management and technical consulting skills with the confidence and ability to communicate fluently with senior business and IT management
Resourceful, creative, innovative and pro-active in approaching business issues and the provision of system solutions
Assertive in collaboration and negotiation with both local and global stakeholders
Good analytical, coordinating, interpersonal and problem solving skills
