Essential: Investment Management and Risk Controls experience
We are currently seeking a professional, goal driven risk & controls professional to join our client as a New Product Specialist.
The team is responsible for providing a risk & control focused approval mechanism for any new or variation of products that our client wishes to trade. It has a significant presence within the organisation including all the major infrastructure support areas across the Bank.
Specific Responsibilities:-
- Managing relationships & working closely with Front Office to develop new product proposals
- Liaising with Infrastructure representatives to build consensus and solve issues during the gestation period of the new product proposal - by performing preliminary risk assessments.
- Routine report production and trend analysis
- Leading or working on key improvement initiatives
- Liaising with and producing information for Regulators, internal audit and other internal/external stakeholders
About you
You will have a minimum 3-5 years of experience within Investment Managemen and an overall minimum of 10-15 years experience within the financial/banking industry.
You will be able to demonstrate a solid risk/control-oriented background, especially as a risk manager, audit or or consultant having acquired strong knowledge of investment bank business processes - front to back.
