SAS Programmer/Database programmer

For one of our clients in the Pharmaceutical sector we are looking for a SAS Programmer/Database programmer. You will have to convert data to industry standards using advanced SAS techniques and invent, develop and maintain new solutions for improved business.
Main responsibilities include:
.Analyzing the content, structure and format of source data;
.Developing conversion jobs using Base SAS/SAS Data Integration Studio;
.Quality Control of project deliverables;
.Proactively identifying and tracking issues and coordinating the resolution.
.Programming & maintaining department system applications (mostly JAVA/SAS);
.Coordinating the functionality of internal tools;
.Maintaining awareness of current features & new developments in SAS
.Training, Mentoring & Operating Procedures
.Participate and contribute in project/team meetings
Your profile:
* SAS programming skills is a must, one or more of the following programming languages is a strong asset: C++, JAVA, C#, PHP.
. Very good verbal and written English skills, French or Dutch is an asset
. Master in IT, or equivalent by experience
