Senior Java Developer (Application support)
For one of our projects in London, we are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer for the Application Support team
Purpose:
The purpose of this work is to:
Support Java based applications as 2nd and 3rd line support
Description:
The work required therefore comprises:
o Troubleshoot Java applications
o Enhance and test applications as maintenance
o Participate in the deployment of new versions of applications
o Participate actively in business team meetings
o Ensure tractability of application change requests
o Keep end-users informed on the progress of the troubleshooting of their problem
General Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in Java/J2EE Development
- Strong knowledge in Java, Spring (MVC), Hibernate, EJB, JSP, Flex.
- Proven experience in complex SQL and PL/SQL.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
