IT Trainer - Permanent - £35k - Weybridge Based
My Client a leading IT Training company based in Weybridge is looking to recruit an IT Trainer on a permanent basis. This position is paying circa £35k per annum.
The Role
We are looking for a self motivated IT trainer with energy and motivation. Applicants must be great communicators, have the ability to manage projects, have created courses and excellent documentation, and have a desire to use their flexibility and enthusiasm to:
- Work alone or as part of a team delivering personalised training solutions on client sites
- Create training strategies and plans
- Develop customised documentation
- Develop professional bespoke training materials including E-learning
- Provide the end to end training solution for IT projects - this may also include some end user communications
- Manage timelines, plans, budgets and resources
- Manage client relationships
Essential Skills
- The ability to lead a training project from end to end
- Good working knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 and applications
- Ability to create training materials in a variety of formats including MS Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent standard of written communications
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to learn new applications and processes quickly
- Able to facilitate and deliver hands on training
- A team player who works well within team environments but who is motivated and self-sufficient to work independently
- Flexibility to adapt to changing roles and requirements Dependent on the client and Kaleidoscope, which might include different work site locations and hours of work
- At least six years IT training experience within the professional services environment
- Ideally industry standard information technology qualification such as MOUS, ECDL, TAP
Desirable
- Adobe Captivate experience
- Live Meeting experience
- Knowledge of SharePoint 2003 and 2007 and an interest in 2010
- MS Communicator/Lync experience
- Fluent in other languages
