UAT Lead/Manager: Contract: Dublin

Fantastic opportunity in Dublin for a UAT lead/manager with 2-3 years experience in this role. Our prestigious client has extended projects and that are already underway and will be looking for someone who has experience in leading teams and organising projects around UAT from a business and IT perspective.

Please find below a description of the duties involved in this role.

Role:

  • Develop and execute a robust, dynamic and business needs focused test strategy that you will own and plan to across multiple projects and test streams
  • Develop individual test plans for multiple test streams from a functional and financial reconciliation perspective
  • Undertake comprehensive test planning, producing an auditable test documentation suite for each system release from both a system/functional and UAT perspective
  • Develop process driven UAT scenarios that will integrate to form an end to end UAT test of all processes and functions
  • Manage a number of temporarily assigned test resources from both business and IT backgrounds
  • Own and manage the UAT test environment and take full responsibility for code version and release management
  • Liaise with both technical and business system designers to ensure requirements traceability across all test phases and artefacts

A suitable candidate for this role will have experience and knowledge in the following.

Profile:

  • Strong organisational awareness with ability to identify, and build trusting relationships with, decision makers and influencers within the organisation
  • Be an excellent PM with understanding of full SDLC including estimation, budget and scope
  • Be a self-starter, capable of executing tests at a system test and UAT level oneself while also managing test projects and the test execution of others
  • Possess excellent analytical ability to tease out complex user requirements
  • Ability to assess priority clearly and consistently and make rapid decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills with a demonstrable ability to articulate requirements and issues to all levels in the organisation, both business and technical
  • Be knowledgeable in conflict management
  • Experienced in scope management, defect management
  • Possess a clear appreciation of the demands and pressures of the business and knowledge/willingness to overcome with little or no notice
