We are looking for a candidate who can apply strong analytic skills to provide evidence-based decision making and monitoring of performance to Member Services. This consultant will present high-level analysis regarding operational status and trends to leaders and business partners in the client organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Designs, develops and customizes analytic models used to analyze aspects of business decisions in the Member Services subdivision.
- Works as part of a cross-functional team with Member Services leadership, Project Management, and Business Engineering teams to build quantified business cases, business problems, and desired business outcomes.
- Mines data, conducts analysis, and interprets results related to specific projects and over-all KPIs.
- Prepares and presents regular and ad-hoc analyses to internal audiences involved with decision decisions.
- Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and engages Member Services Leadership on performance issues.
- Reviews and analyzes operating results from Member Services area and may recommend changes.
- Creates influential dashboards and presentations that use information to influence senior leadership on business trends and strategies.
- Watches for and analyzes trends in business key performance indicators, providing relevant information, opinions and recommendations to leadership regarding trends.
- Understands and leverages industry performance trends and their potential effect on Regence Member Service performance.
- Creates and manages recommendations of the comprehensive Member Services Performance Dashboard.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics or related field with 7 years' experience demonstrating success in the areas below
- Microsoft Office Suite required, especially strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with data reporting and analysis tools, such as SAS BI, SQL Server, Oracle, or Greenplum software a plus
- Ability to communicate with executive audiences, must be comfortable working with senior leadership, expressing opinions and recommendations
- Ability work productively across organization
- Oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to adjust communication style and content to fit the audience needs
- Ability and skills to create a dashboard that provides "at a glance" information
- Must have experience analysing information using process improvement methodologies such as LEAN, Six Sigma, or TQM
- Financial Assessment of proposed projects, such as ROI, cost modelling, and forecast modelling
- Must be comfortable creating recommendations with information that could be understood or interpreted in more than one way.
- Can effectively transform data into practical information used in driving or supporting decisions
- Must have an ability to see the cause and effect between changes made and their impact to KPIs
- Knowledge of and experience applying visual evidence concepts
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, ability to multi-task, and flexibility required
