Cost Reduction Engineer - Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
We currently have a fantastic requirement for a Cost Reduction Engineer to work for one of our leading blue chip clients. The exciting new contract is for a 6 month period with possible extension.
Rates range between £33 to £37 per hour Dependent on experience. BS clearance is required but our client will arrange this on the successful candidate's behalf.
Role Description
- Tasks include production and development of business cases, definition and implementation of cost reduction strategies, review of overhaul and servicing strategies and root cause analysis.
- Other investigation work & testing may also be required in support of the tasks.
- The tasks will cover the full range of engine components & systems.
Key Skills
- Good mechanical engineering understanding
- Pro-active approach to progress tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to work with a wide range of technical specialists to meet challenging timescales
- Ability to communicate effectively with the client
