Description
Our client, a leading player whithin the financial services industry, requires a SAP FICO specialist. Aston Carter is looking for a trilingual consultant (French, Dutch, English) to join the SAP Cost Accounting team.
Context:
Within our clien't team supporting SAP Cost-Accounting, they currently cannot cope with the maintenance effort together with the projects launched (Invoice Dematerialisation, SEPA, A/R Luxembourg, PRO Rata VAT Luxembourg). We have identified a need for a SAP specialist who will be able to support mainly the maintenance activities (RTB and BAU), especially in the FI and CO modules.

Duration: 6 months
Function description:
Tasks within this team are to advice on and recommend best practices, to setup and maintain the system in the different area's and modules covered (FI/CO, MM/SD, RE, AA, PS), and to guide and train our internal dedicated consultants.
Key tasks:
Describe and define detailed solutions to answer enhancements required by the MOA.
Challenge requirements in order to promote standard SAP solutions.
Perform gap analysis for non standard developments and supervise development.
Customize SAP applications according to the customer's requirements, avoiding non-standard solutions.
Write the functional/technical specifications and documentation related to the setup.
Perform unit testing.
Perform performance testing/regression/integration testing.
Train our internal consultants.
Languages:
Oral communication will be done in French and Dutch, BUT all the documentation has to be written in English! No need to apply if you do not speak the three requested languages.
Required knowledge/experience:
Education & Soft skills:
* Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience
* Team player
* Flexible
* Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude,
* Good Communication skills;
* Good analytical and synthesis skills;
* Autonomy, commitment and perseverance
* Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment
Experience:
* 4-5 years experience as consultant in modules FI//CO (CO/SD/PS/RE).
Mandatory technical knowledge:
* Expert (senior) in SAP FI.
* Excellent knowledge of Purchase-to-pay Processes.
* SAP ECC 6
* Understanding, Account Receivable process, project accounting and controlling processes.
Preferred:
* Technical skills or understanding of Idocs.
