One of Volts leading Pharmaceutical clients are recruiting a Quality Operations Manager to work from their offices based in Surrey for a six month contract.
Role purpose:
To lead and manage the Quality Assurance service within Animal Health Care. This includes licensing to relevant external bodies, and links to quality standards and global quality systems. With responsibility and authority in ensuring that the appropriate quality standards and systems are implemented and maintained.
The key responsibilities include but are no exclusive to:
* Representing the UK Business in all internal links to the overall Quality Organisation.
* Liaison with warehousing/distribution management to ensure that change of status instructions for products shipped under quarantine is correctly managed.
* "Responsible person" for distribution on all quality related issues.
* To provide final check and GMP review of product artwork.
* Client Animal Health UK Quality Assurance approver
* Represent Animal Health UK in terms of quality management and to be the business contact for communication of quality issues.
* To manage and support the administrative release of products received from the manufacturing network.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Eligible as a 'Responsible Person' or ' Qualified Person'
* Graduate level
* Manufacturing experience preferable but not essential
* Understanding of local businesses.
