Mechanical Design Engineer - Commercial Products - Kent
The R&D department of a well known British company are looking for a mechanical design engineer to join their team. This company maintain a strong reputation for quality and technically advanced products as well as an eye for the aesthetic product. Candidate must have
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in injection moulding, casting and machined parts
- Highly competent on 3D CAD
- Experience working in NPD
This role involves working within a team of 12 as well as independently on NPD in the R&D department. You will have technically confident and a good communicator because you will be liaising with customers and suppliers - aswell as internal departments to achieve project objectives. You will need to be a strong engineer able to deal with all aspects of product development from concept design through to FEA, DFMEA tolerance analysis. This is a good role for an engineer who has a passion for mechanical engineering as well as an aesthetic appreciation for the finished product.
Salary £33,000 - £38,000
