Our client is looking for:
Oracle Technical Expert +7 years of experience
Tasks:
The Technology Expert will work on the development of different applications from the business area, providing expert advice and assistance on all technical matters related to Oracle database design, Oracle-based development, and J2EE technology for web applications.
The candidate should have knowledge of:
Methodologies:
- PM for Project Management (based on market standards: PMP and
- PRINCE2),
- RUP for Software Development,
- Tools supporting methodologies like Atlassian Jira or IBM Jazz.
Design/Architecture/Technologies:
- Architecture market trends/standards,
- Relational database management systems (required),
- Design patterns,
- Distributed architecture,
- In depth knowledge of Oracle (Virtual Private DB, Custom object & collection types, PL/SQL stored procedure, Dynamic SQL, Transaction management, Text, Internationalization),
- Business Objects
- Solaris (Shell, compilation)
- Service-Oriented Architecture
- Model-view controller
The candidate should have proven experience in:
1. Methodologies:
- Using and enforcing Software Development and Project Management methodologies.
2. Design/Architecture:
- Researching architectural alternatives and improved solutions for the new developments, including the search for new technologies,
- Elaborating feasibility studies focused upon infrastructure components (focused on DB side),
- Providing technical evaluations in relation with information systems infrastructure,
- Implementing distributed systems (SOA, web-services, REST),
- Architecting multilingual applications,
- Physical/logical data modelling, the design of Oracle database schema, development and testing of packages, stored procedures and functions,
- Configuration and maintaining batch processes for data loads.
3. Testing and Deployment:
- Monitoring performance of application with profiling,
- Database performance optimization in connection with large amounts of data within the database tier,
- Database importing and exporting, users, roles, privileges, schemas and database objects management, sessions monitoring,
- Technical analysis and implementation of application technical upgrades,
- Provide expertise in organizing and implementing deployment studies as well as stress tests for meeting the IS hosting requirements,
- Automate deployments (Java, DB, static files),
- Implementation of continuous integration,
- Customization of subversion.
