Description
The Norwegian Rail authoreties has under implementation a comprehensive transmission network based on IP/MPLS. This is a new and demanding technologies for the organization. The Management has therefore taken a thorough review of all aspects of the implementation of the network.
After completing the implementation of the networks using their own resources to:
Planning of the total network (national, regional, and access)
Build and deploy the web
Document the network
Make deliveries in the network
Operation and management of network
The assignment includes participation in a ' task force ' of our IP/MPLS network in 2 phases:
Analysis of the situation
Implementation of identified actions.
Supplier of equipment, Alcatel Lucent and liver doors will probably support the analysis and implementation of measures. This will also include review, analysis and implentering by:
The structure, layout of nodes, protocols and routing
Synchronization of the network
IP Addressing of the network
Setup and penetration testing of the Firewall
Authentication
Processes up to "best practice".

Manuals for planning, construction and operation of the network
Duration: End 2012, with possibility of extension
The mission will have up to 100 % load
The following skills and experience required:
Extensive experience with construction, operation and delivery in an IP/MPLS networks
Extensive experience with process -related work, including the establishment and upgrading of the processes of Plan, Build and Run
Knowledge of processes based on the framework of ITIL and eTOM
Proven experience of conducting audits of the network, expertise, processes in a technological environment.
Experience in implementing and managing projects in a dynamic environment including management of subcontractors.
