Description
The candidate in this excellent contract position will assist the client company in controlling their storage infrastructure. She/He will resolve performance and availability issues.
OVERVIEW:
- Analyze current performance and performance issues
- Make recommendations to improve performance
- Proactively monitor environment
- Validate the operational readiness of the existing storage management tools
- Complete the deployment of tools
- Assist in the discovery of new arrays
- Transfer knowledge to NS LIJ storage engineers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Performance Tuning
- ECC San Manager, ECC Symm Manager, ECC Storage Scope, ECC Symm Optimizer
- Storage Performance Analyzer (SPA), Performance Manager, SMC, SCA, Control Center, Solutions Enabler, strong understanding of tiering, PerfMon ANDIOSTAT
Nice to Have:
Symm SPEED guru, FAST VP, host-based storage migrations, other storage related Performance tools such as STP
