One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Support Consultant (Windows/Desktop/Apple OSX).

Major Responsibilities and day to day activities and/or objective for the role:

This position is responsible for support of 2000+ users as part of a global organization. Support includes both Apple OSX and Windows 7 based systems. The successful applicant will have strong troubleshooting skills as well as a experience working with end users in a highly-collaborative, cross-platform environment.

Primary responsibilities include support functions for troubleshooting desktop OSs, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office applications.

The support administrator will also create/maintain custom task sequences and other documentation within the client repository.

This position is responsible for Tier-1 support for both technical and non-technical users, which includes tasks such as reading log files, troubleshooting system boot and connectivity issues, and providing assistance with calendaring or messaging questions.

Requires strong technical, communications and business skills.

An ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills, and strong communication in both the written and verbal form.

Strong organizational, prioritizing and time management skills; ability to multi-task.

Extreme attention to detail.

The ideal candidate would have experience with:

  • Minimum 3 years work experience with Windows and OSX systems including enterprise integration, upgrades, and software deployments.
  • Must have knowledge with troubleshooting and administering Blackberry devices.
  • Must be familiar with installing and configuring mobile broadband cards.
  • Advanced troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
  • Apple OS X Snow Leopard.
  • Windows 7.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (including Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac).
  • Create, resolve or escalate assigned tickets.
  • Manage user accounts and passwords.
  • Experience with Workstation and laptop imaging.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • +3 years. of experience in Desktop Deployment
  • 3-5 years. of Apple OSX experience in an enterprise
  • 3-5 years. of Windows Systems Administrator experience
