Fantastic opporturtunity to work as an Senior Operational Risk Analyst at a financial company in Brussels. 6 month contract.
Identify and assess the risks that operations is facing as a result of the activities for which Operations (OPS) is accountable; Define and implement the means to keep these risks within the tolerance limits and in line with the risk appetite as defined by the OPS management team; Initiate and/or monitor the progress of risk mitigation that are triggered by the functioning of and alerts raised by the permanent control framework.
Most important tasks will be:
- Definition and creation of consolidated OPC reports (incl. risk alert escalation)
- Obtaining the management's validation of the consolidated reports
- Contribute to the creation of reports
- Continuously update the entity's risk profile (based on consolidation of internal deliverables like Key Risk Indicators)
- Continuously update the entity's risk heatmap to align its risk appetite with its inherent risk profile
- Language
- Sound knowledge of French and Dutch; (written) English.
