Job Description:

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a senior developer with expertise in WebSphere DataPower to work with a team of technical lead/architects/business on various client engagements. Individual must have excellent communication and written skills and should have experience interacting with key client stakeholders.

Duties include:

• Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives.
• Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors.
• Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing.
• Leads most complex multiple modelling, simulations, and analysis efforts.
• Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.

Required Skills:

• Should have 5-6 years of DataPower development experience.
• Experience with Web Services Proxy and Multiprotocol Gateway.
• Must have hands on experience with Security policy within DataPower.
• Must have knowledge working on AAA w/various authentication/authorization systems.
• Must have knowledge of DataPower auditing and troubleshooting framework.
• Must be familiar with DP CLI.
• Experience with migrating Application specific objects, proxies and other objects between environments.
• Experience with automated deployments strategies with DP.
• Must have knowledge of the SOMA interface.
• Must have extended knowledge of Web Services development knowledge.
• Must have extended experience with XSLT and Stylesheet development within DP.
• Experience working on MQ integration within datapower a plus.
