IT Process Analyst

Summary

The role of the Process Analyst is to apply process improvements, methodologies and principles within the IT division. This includes identifying, planning, performing and implementing process improvement solutions for specific aspects of IT, such as Work Entry, equipment requests, etc. You will help define the communication between the delivery and the stakeholders. Someone coming from a large enterprise company in a division of IT that is willing to work with a small team and a small to midsize company environment is ideal. You should also be process oriented with an IT focus. The right person for this position must be willing to be on call 24x7 as needed to support special projects. This is a 12 month Contract position

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience designing and implementing process improvements, including 3 years in an Information Technology environment.
  • Project management and project life cycle experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project and Visio.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to approach others in a professional, tactful manner, react well under pressure, accept responsibility for own actions and follow through on commitments.
  • Effective customer service skills; able to work in a team-oriented environment, manage competing demands, resolve conflict(s), change approach or method to best fit the situation.
  • Excellent time management skills and organization skills; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Self-motivated and works well independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and hands-on style. Must have strong critical thinking and analytical skills in order to solve complex problems.
  • Must have strong data analysis skills, along with the capability to present data and results in a clear, concise manner.
  • Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as delivery skills for business timelines and presentations.
  • Must have the ability to learn quickly and comprehend many technical and business concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable area or relative work experience.
  • May have access to Corporate, Customer, Supplier and/or Employee priority information, a Non-disclosure agreement is required.
