This person will be supporting a Windows 7 deployment and assisting end users with the changes made to their systems, troubleshooting any issues encountered. Candidates may also be assisting the deployment team with setting up PC's. Must have scheduling flexibility. In addition, s/he will be interacting directly with the client and end users and must have excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly analyze an issue/resolution, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Business casual dress is required.
There is potential for additional work supporting end users in remote locations in Colorado, Wyoming and Dallas, TX if the candidate has the ability to travel.
OVERVIEW:
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Works under immediate supervision
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
- Typically reports to a project leader or manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- Windows 7 deployment experience including reimaging, data backups and restores
- A+ certification required
- Knowledge of commonly-used tech support concepts, practices, and procedures
- May require an Associate's Degree or equivalent
