The Care Delivery Data Services Team is responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of data integration services, driving the successful delivery of integration products from definition through production support.
In support of the overall goals of the Data Services team, we are looking for a WSRR service registry & repository engineer. He/she will register service meta-data and manage life cycle assets, which are significant for architectural, portfolio management and support considerations. The accuracy of the registry meta-data is critical to architectural integrity and the success of service consumption and support. Therefore, the optimal candidate will possess the characteristic of meticulous attention to detail and a solid understanding of service life cycle architecture
Top Responsibilities:
1. Maintain service meta-data and life cycle assets in service registry (WSRR), following architectural standards. Maintaining related documentation in the team StarTeam and SharePoint sites when needed
2. Consulting with enterprise wide service clients and service providers, providing integration details and documents as requested
3. Providing front line support for WSRR related problems by being involved in troubleshooting, identifying root cause and recommending appropriate solutions
4. Supporting development teams with service registration during design, development, testing and implementation
5. Providing summary-level service information to portfolio managers and governance coordinator
Top Required Skills:
1. Have experience registering and managing services, preferably in WebSphere Registry and Repository (WSRR)
2. Understand WSDL and XML
3. Have understanding of SOA service registry and enterprise service bus practices and technologies
4. Have a basic understanding of the uses of Middleware products and how they relate to WSRR
5. Have experience as a systems analyst, technical writer or system administrator
Desired Skills:
1. Strong communication skills
2. Understand and have worked with healthcare information systems and integrations
3. Be able to perform customer-facing requirements analysis and translate them into technical solutions
4. Experience with WebLayers, soapUI, xmlSpy or other related industry tools
Education: AAS degree or evquivalent experience required.
