As Broadcast Certification Engineer you will be supporting the certification process. This role requires a candidate who has excellent communication skills to explain and summarise investigations which have been conducted. Additionally a keen problem solver to debug any code and investigate the root cause of software problems.

Main Responsibilities:

• You investigate the issues found by the certification Lab and help by proposing solutions or by investigating the root cause of the issue such as to fasten the resolution.
• You prepare the development of the operator specific requirement for the first of kind certifications.
• You validate the solutions and verify they do not introduce regressions.

Profile:

• You are an Industrial or Civil Engineer or Master in Informatics or have a specialisation in Computer Sciences
• You have minimum 3 years experience in Embedded software design and development.
• You have detailed knowledge of C programming.
• You are a Linux system administrator, with experience in Embedded Linux systems.
• You have strong Scripting knowledge, including Python and Bash.
• You have knowledge in cryptography (AES) and related security aspects.
• You have experience in database management and in web application development.
• You have experience in working with multidisciplinary and cross-site teams. Experience with third party software suppliers is considered an asset.
• You have the ability to work and prioritize on your own.
• You are a team player, communicative and result driven.
• You are quality minded both on a product and process level; knowledge or experience of process models such as CMMI, Agile, DFSS is considered an asset
• You have a good command of English.
• Knowledge and experience of static and dynamic code analysis tools, different configuration management and continuous integration tools is considered an asset.
• Willing to work abroad for short periods.
