Our client, a major Federal Government Department, is seeking Senior Test Analyst joins them to work on:
The senior test analyst will undertake following tasks,
- Lead a team of test analysts
- Produce test strategies, plans, cases and summary reports.
- Develop and execute test scripts.
- Test components and certify their readiness for production.
- Track resolution of issues identified during testing and prioritise in conjunction with developers and managers.
- Communicate with network, system and application developers, test team and the Test Manager regarding the stability of, and changes to the SATIN software undergoing testing
- Utilise specialist knowledge to continuously improve the conduct of testing processes in DFAT to achieve the following objectives,
o To provide ICT testing and quality assurance services to the department.
o To verify the quality of approved changes to DFAT's SATIN (Secure Australian Telecommunications & Information Network) environment and its hosted applications for Canberra and overseas posts
To be considered for the position you will have:
- Recent and relevant experience as a Senior Test Analyst preferably leading a test team.
- Skills and history as a Tester working on large corporate systems
- Highly developed written skills pertaining to test plans, cases, strategies and summary reports
- Excellent proven communication and people skills including client liaison and documentation
- Experience and knowledge of:
i. test methodologies and procedures
ii. creation of test strategies, plans and test cases - Knowledge and/or experience of testing tools and techniques - preferably QualityCenter 10.0
- Experience in and ability to undertake application and SOE infrastructure testing as required, under limited supervision.
- Knowledge/work experience with the following technologies:
o Windows Server
o Windows7
o Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM
o SQL
o Microsoft Exchange
o SharePoint 2010
o Web technologies (.Net) - Knowledge/work experience with the following:
- Test automation and performance tools - preferably Visual Studio 2010
- Knowledge/work experience with the following:
o IP Networks
o IP based PABX technologies
o SAN storage environments
o Design and business analysis
o Knowledge of ITIL practices
o Lotus Notes
o Experience working with and understanding the significance of Secret and In-Confidence networks
