Software test engineer,
A global telecoms company based in Brussels are searching for a software test engineer to work on an implementation of network inventory package. As the Software test engineer you will create the integration and system test scenarios based on project specification and define/create test data to be used in test scenarios. As the software test engineer you will also execute the integration and system test scenarios and analyse the results.
We are looking for a software test engineer with around 3 years experience and knowledge of TMap or ISTQB, you will have experience with Black Box testing and experience with HP quality centre (Test Plan, Test Lab, defects). The software test engineer will be familiar with software development life cycles and software development processes.
Essential skills:
- 3 years experience in software testing
- Analytical way of thinking
- Structured and organized
- Experience with TMap or ISTQB knowledge
- Master the Black Box Testing Techniques
- Ability to create and execute manual test scenarios
- Hands on experience in HP Quality Center (Test Plan, Test Lab, Defects).
- Ability to query a database
- Familiar with software development life cycles & software development processes
Desired Skills:
- Having telecom network knowledge is an advantage
- Having an engineering background is an advantage
