Description
For one of our clients we war searching for a Senior Security Engineer (m/f).
Tasks:
Understand and maintain key security processes: eg security patch management, vulnerability management, security event management, fire id management, policy compliance etc.
Follow-up of security threats, hacking techniques and infrastructure vulnerabilities announced in Security Communities/public domain.
Implementation and monitoring compliance
Contribute to solve Internal Audit issues and External Audit reported deficiencies
Supporting the compliance team in implementing and maintaining compliancy to internal and external standards/regulations (IFC)
Monitor level of security by using security monitoring tools, policies and controls, performing vulnerability assessments on complex IT systems & architectures.
Understand user security administration policies
Provide consultancy to security topics especially on operating systems like Windows (2000, 2003, ), Unix and Linux, Mainframe and network devices in internal and external projects
Give security advice and promote security awareness towards clients and colleagues
Produce technical security documentation, guidelines, procedures and reports
Provide an independent level of consultancy on a very high skilled level
Manage security related projects without necessary help or intervention from project managers.
Active knowledge of French and/or Dutch and passive knowledge of the other.
Active knowledge of English (CEF level B2/C1) because this is the communication language in the region and group.
Skills:
Operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux - preferable in-depth knowledge of Red Hat; Mainframe) and vulnerability assessments and audits (esp. also related tools to these topics)
Thorough understanding of log analysis, policy compliance, intrusion detection and prevention network traffic tools. Knowledge of enVision, BMC BladeLogic Client Automation and IPS is definitively an asset
Firewall architecture, network design & components (CheckPoint, Cisco PIX, AlgoSec FA)
Proxy and content filtering systems, antivirus and antispyware (Bluecoat Proxy-cache, WebSense, SmartFilter, IronPort, Finjan, Sophos, Symantec )
Fundamentals of cryptography, encryption technologies and authentication schemes (3DES, AES, hashing, PGP, Win EFS, PKI, Smartcard, SSL certificates, LDAP, AD, TACACS ) and the process of key management
Database security and operating system security settings as well as OS hardening
At least one of those security certification; Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is a plus.
