The testing specialist is an expert in preparing test cases, test scripts and test data. He or she supports the UAT efforts as Test Lead for the assigned region in the creation and execution of the User Acceptance Test. The Specialist has strong skills and experience in developing test cases, in the use of HP's Quality Center, and understands how to play a focal role in updating tests, test plans, and defects in the Quality Center database. This person is dedicated to the ROC Claims Connect project, and acts as the testing expert. This individual also has full responsibility for the content and quality of the test cases and plans in Quality Center. Health Care industry and claims processing experience is a must. We prefer to find a candidate who knows the Xcelys system, but at a minimum understands the inner workings of the claims department process, particularly where system navigation and work-queue management is concerned. Strong quality control experience and a background in health care testing experience, and preferred UAT and QTP experience. Understanding of the end-to-end claims process, including EDI (electronic data interface) and "835" & "837" transactions.
Work Environment: Testing Command Center participant is a fast-paced, single focused environment, with this team member being a key player in maintaining coordination and control. 3 Skills: Quality Center software; Test Case preparation; Test Data and Expected Results design
5 Responsibilities: Coordination and daily contact with the UAT Team Lead; Defect recording and management of responses and resolution; Creation of testing "work packages" or "workbooks" for end-user testing; Collection and recording of actual results in Quality Center; Logging and managing questions for the NW region.
Education: Preferred BA/BS in Computer Science; Testing Certifications also desired.
