Our client is one of the worlds leading network providers and is looking for a VoIP QA Lead/VoIP Engineer to work on a brand new innovative project. As a VoIP QA Lead/VoIP Engineer, you will test all the VOIP development for the whole platform (Android, iPhone and Web) and control the quality in production. You will be playing a significant contribution to providing an innovative service that supports voice, SMS, instant messaging, messages coming from social networks and allows customization of the voicemail

Responsibilities

I.To manage issues/tasks which are implemented for VOIP product in Jira project:
1.Organize issue/task verification and closure:
Implement tests on lower-end for issue/task verification and regression management;
Defining exit criteria (for closure) for tasks which are under validation;
Initiate/Organize VOIP tests with QA team;
2.Manage possible regression and performance risks by new impelentations, plan for additional performance tests, evaluate tools and provide useful tools for test activities.
II.Plan, Organize and ensure VOIP functionality maturity:
1.To introduce/maintain nightly tests (includes regression management);
2.Performance testing on different VOIP architecture components + performance tests for VOIP functionality in general.
3.Develop tools and test criteria for monitoring global system performance and discovery of bottlenecks to aid in scaling and optimisation of the VoIP platform, with particular emphasis on SIP traffic, call duration and media routing.
4. Develop tools and test criteria for voice quality measurement based on industry standards (MOS scores), both measured and subjective.
III.Define process/exit criteria for new implementations/changes to be applied into production environment. Organize and support tests before/on production environment.

IV.Be main contact point for QA, beta test and other people having issues/questions regarding VOIP possible issues, questions etc.

V.Debug issues to find root cause and reflect all issues in Jira.

VI.Plan, organize and setup test activity plans and action points for new implementations, changes, environments etc. Should be able to specify what kind of tests need to be performed to gain high confidence level about product quality.

VII.Document and share all possible implementations, tools, plans and knowledge to share it with QA team and other people involved in project.
