Link Technologies is seeking a qualified Software Engineer for a contract position in Las Vegas, NV. The Software Engineer is responsible for analysing, designing, coding, writing and running unit tests, and debugging software programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Writes unit, regression, load and stress tests to verify software programs. Prepares any test data required.

Finds, analyzes, and fixes software bugs.

Creates Windows Forms or WPF application utilizing C#.

Utilizes software engineering best practices, including design patterns and UML.

Experience with full product development life cycle and multiple releases of enterprise-class software products.

Follows Company programming standards.

Follows Company design methodology.

Focused on team success. Works well in a team environment. Assists team members in all areas to achieve successful sprints and retrospectively provides feedback for continuous improvement.

Strong understanding of the Agile serum methodology and how to work within an agile serum environment.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or its equivalent.

Experience: Requires a minimum of two years' experience in writing Windows programs using a major OOP Windows programming language (such as Visual C++, C#, with C# strongly preferred). 2+ years of .NET experience. Experience with an agile development methodology, preferably Serum is a plus.

Skills, knowledge, and qualifications:

Software Development experience with Object-Oriented Design and C# development.

Experience creating Windows Fom1s or WPF application utilizing C#.

Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including design patterns and UML.

Must possess good analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.

Experience with full product development life cycle and multiple releases of enterprise-class software products

Demonstrates excellent oral and written, communication and customer service skills.

Demonstrates an extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Must be a team player.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Must have strong communication skills, able to work independently and be team oriented.

This position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.

Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:

Assigned duties are accomplished primarily in an office/production setting. Must be able to maneuver around an office/production setting, work at a desk/work station and respond to written and oral cues.

Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office/production equipment.

May be required to bend, reach and lift up to 25 lbs.
