Description
For this contract position with a world renowned computer manufacturing company, you will be responsible for developing SharePoint 2010 content promoting technical development across a large business group. Development will include translating approved design into a layout that is easy to use, access, and maintain for future additions to content. All development will need to be done using SharePoint features that are available in the client environment. You will also need to create documentation to reflect the correct way to update and add content for those who will support this information in the future.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least intermediate-level skills and previous experience in a large enterprise SharePoint environment
- SharePoint 2010 experience preferred
- Ability to work with content editor web part to create links, add pictures, and configure layout
- Skills to configure document libraries and lists to display different views and sort/group/filter based on needs of the business group
- Knowledge of new SharePoint 2010 features such as document library content refresh reminders
- Ability to recommend changes to design of all web parts (including content editor, lists, and libraries) to meet the core needs of sharing technical training, making content easy to find and easy to access, while also ensuring that long-term maintenance and content updates can be done with "light touch support" which doesn't require complex SharePoint skills
- Experience in user interface design recommended but not required
