Title: Network Engineer
Type: Contract - 12months +
Our client in Tucker, GA is seeking a Network Engineer for a 12 month, contract position. This is a long term position with the opportunity to go permanent.
The Network Engineer role is responsible for daily operations and maintenance of network environment, including some design aspects. The candidate will also be tasked with projects throughout the year, contributing to overall growth and development of the environment and skill set.

Network Engineer Responsibilities:
- Identify outages and troubleshoot to Remedy.
- Bring Servers back online and work with carrier to identify why outages are occurring.
- Develop documentation
- Interfacing with vendors
- Troubleshoot networks to point of failure and quick resolution
Requirements:
- 4 year degree strongly preferred, or equivalent work experience/knowledge
- 4 to 7 years of experience in a Network Engineer role
- Strong networking background
- Strong understanding of Frame Relay and MPLS
- Experience with Cisco Servers and Firewalls
- Experience with Juniper/Checkpoint Firewalls
- Network design experience a strong plus
