Description
Our is the world's largest provider of cryptographic material for PC component products as well as the worldwide supplier to the consumer electronic, media manufacturer and Hollywood/content provider industries. Currently this client is in need of a Configuration Management Specialist. This candidate will support the business by providing networking and server support in all stages of system life cycle.
OVERVIEW:
- Establish and maintain both the processes and tools to enable efficient development, sustaining and production activities
- Collaborate team members to determine organization needs and define and implement CM solutions to those needs, both tools and processes
- May provide day-to-day support and oversight for CM activities in the team
- Providing access to tools, resolve tool administration issues
- Release management (oversight of release activities)
- Run the Change Control Board (CCB)
- Perform analysis of metrics and needs to drive future improvement work
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of Configuration Management experience
- Knowledge of Configuration Management concepts, esp. as it applies to software
- Knowledge of tools such as ANT, Windows batch files and make
- Experience administering configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar products
- Experience in developing configuration management plans and procedures
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Knowledge of Software Security a plus
- Knowledge of ITIL a plus
- Migration of existing code and collateral to new tools
- Setup and oversight of continuous integration/build and deployment systems
