The Category Manager drives category partnership with client top 4 customers to drive growth and profit.
Be the prime category management contact for one of the top 4 customers and work toward Preferred Supplier Status. Deliver annual range review and manage key projects for the customer on availability, signage and key category drivers.
Tailor the category strategy to your customer to deliver category growth and profit through joint working and key initiatives.
Support the customer to implement the optimum Baby Milk range per channel or fascia, including core SKUs and NPD. Develop robust rational to increase the space allocated to Baby Milk within Baby and work with Buyers and Space planners to secure a macro space review of the Baby category giving a fairer share of space to Baby Milk as a whole. Review potential for category signage to ensure that the Baby Milk category is clear and easy to shop.
Ensure that client share of space is fair and in line or above market share. Treat First Stage Milks as a key priority to get maximum exposure in store and review space allocation within Baby Milk to secure eye level visibility to First Stage Milks. Drive incremental listings for the brand on key category growth drivers: Core range and NPD.
Develop and deliver strong category rationale to support any NPD launch, ensuring that any innovation drives sales and profit gains for the Baby Milk category. Secure enough fixture space for NPD to ensure that new products have room to grow to allocate increasing consumer demand.
Drive our customers understanding of the Baby Milk category through information and tailored advice. Ensure that each customer has the most relevant support of format, adapted to their needs and review tools and data provided on a regular basis.
