Description
We are currently looking for a well-qualified individual to function as a Microsoft System Engineer responsible for improving the design and security of our growing infrastructure. This person should be qualified to diagnose and resolve system related issues and outages.
Requirements:
- MCSE with 4+ years of experience or strong work history with ability to demonstrate high level skills
- Must be able to configure, troubleshoot, repair/replace server hardware
- Must be able to troubleshoot Active Directory and DNS
- Must be able to troubleshoot Windows Server operating systems
- Must be able to troubleshoot Microsoft Windows XP, and Windows 7
- Must be able to implement file security permissions, create new users
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Excel and Visio
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Outlook
- VMware administration a plus
- Exchange administration a plus
Other requirements include:
- Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the network.
- Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
- Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and standards to ensure conformance with company objectives. Develop and maintain detailed documentation.
- Analyze and recommend new ideas that meet the company's needs. Provide strategic recommendations that will increase company efficiencies.
- Organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to communicate basic ideas and concepts to all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a team environment
