Webmethods Architect - Brussels - ASAP start - Contract. Next Ventures seeks an experienced webMethods architect for a key role based in Belgium.

Tasks and responsibilities

In order to achieve this, you will:
- Guide and supporting senior developers and system admins to set up and adopt the Webmethods suite
- As a member of the SOA Center of Excellence, managing SOA processes and assets
- High-level solution design, in SOA manner, tackling all project requirements
- High-level business process design
- Create consensus amongst all stakeholders
- Implement integration development guidelines
- Implement service governance
- Support the migration of existing developments based on our current EAI platform towards the newly selected platform(s)
- Support the implementation of new or refactoring of existing (master data) interfaces into qualitative (basic) services

Experience and technical skills
You have at least 3 year of working experience with the Webmethods suite
You are experience with at least one Business Process Management Systems (BPMS).
You have at least 8 years of experience in several software development projects, in all its aspects (from analysis to design & implementation).

Technical knowledge
You are an expert in the Java/JEE technology domain.
In general, Internet/Web technologies have no secrets for you and you are very familiar with development of, and systems using, advanced web services or message-based interactions.
You have gained experience in integration projects and know which are best practices ( integration design patterns ) or potential pitfalls.
You are an expert in integration-related Middleware: Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), B2B gateways, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and service governance Middleware.
