Description
CNC Miller: Setter/Operator - AerospaceDue to an increased work load, my client is looking to expand their team by recruiting an experienced CNC Miller.
You will be a time served apprentice and have a minimum of 3 years? experience in all aspects CNC Milling. You will have the ability to set, operate and edit programs (full programming not essential, however beneficial), be able to run three or more machines at one time.
Will be working on 4 Axis Long beds, experience of Heidenhain and/or Fanuc required
You will be used to working to fine tolerances, and have experience of Bridgeport and Jig Boring.
If you have experience within the Aerospace, Nuclear, Automotive or Medical sector, this will set you at a distinct advantage. My client is offering immediate interviews for the right candidates, with immediate start.
Overtime available paid at time and a half over 40 hours.
This is an excellent opportunity, and will be a permanent weekend shift (Fri, Sat, Sun - 12 hour shifts) you only actually work 37.5 hours but get paid for 39 hours. You have the option of working days or nights and will receive the relevant shift premium.
Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Duration: Temp leading to perm position
Pay rate - £11.09ph, plus shift allowance, overtime paid at time and half, quarterly bonus: current operators are on around 30k PA without Overtime. 50-60K with Overtime
Working on a rotating days and nights shift or permanent nights if preferred.
