Description
This role will offer the right candidate the opportunity to join a large IT Consultancy and Outsourcing company based in London. The position is to provide political and high level policy analysis, support and advice for client teams in the Health & Public Service practice and across other parts of the business as required - Support the drive for profitable sales by protecting the client and building understanding of the firm with audiences of elected representatives; Government; think tanks and industry leadership bodies/trade associations.
Experience Needed -
Compiling weekly roundup of relevant political and policy news. Analysis of key speeches, white papers and policy announcements. Able and experienced in attending weekly media meetings. Speaking at communications and community events to give updates. Liaising with think tanks and trade associations to arrange attendance at events and speaking opportunities. Liaison with related internal functions marketing, media, corporate citizenship on joint initiatives and to ensure an aligned message.
Skills Required
Understanding of the UK political system and awareness of current affairs
Ability to summarise and synthesis information
Good communication and presentation skills.
